We are expecting a baby boy and i am nine months along. We honestly can't deside on a name. He only suggested one and I came up with at least eight. The baby is getting his middle and last name already. I really want to agree on a name but he wont compromise. he is dead set on one name and i cant choose between two other ones. I have no idea what to do????

Pick a name from a hat. There has to be some sort of compromise and if you just let him have his way now, you're setting a dangerous precedent for the remainder of the relationship. He can't just have it his way. Atleast if you pick the name from a hat and it ends up being Noah, you can atleast say that you had a chance!!! Besides...bottom line...you're carrying the kid for 9 months. He did 2 minutes of work and you're doing 9 months of work. You've got to have some compensation for all of that!!!

Noah, Cody and Dylan are all good boys names. I agree with you, your husband has already given him the middle and last name, you should be allowed to pick he first name. Why is Noah so important to him? Ask him. If the reasoning is sound, then I guess his name will be Noah. If your husband is just being stubborn, then I would sit down and talk with him and tell him that you want to give your son his first name. Is he sticking with Noah because he does not like the names you picked? Maybe both of you need to look at a list of boys names again and find names both of you like.

When my husband and I were expecting our first child, we went into the hospital with 3 names for each sex. We had a little girl, we looked at our list of names and both decided right away on the name for her. So maybe you could try that. Good luck.

Tell your husband that you are carrying a baby and you are delivering him. I have a hard headed spouse myself.

How about Ned for a boy? It's noah and dylan combined. You could use Ned as a nickname or the full name. But it doesn't flow well with Scott.
Or you could use Scott as the first name?

I love Noah Scott, Cody and Dylan are way over used here in Texas. Country boys! You have to consider it is his child too. Even though we girls feel like it's our baby sometimes! haha

You can always wait till you see him, but you both have to compromise.

well what is his middle name? Find a name that sounds good with it. My daughters name is Angelika Maria....it kinda flows off your tounge. if you cannot agree then agree to disagree.

Those are all beautiful names....why dont you try saying each one with the middle name and decide which one sounds good. I like Noah Scott, and Cody Scott. good luck

dylan is a really good name with the middle name, tell him that the baby gets everything else, you carried it for nine months you get a say in the first name.
