There are lots of reasons for low back pain, ask her to see her dr.

If it's really bad to the point where she is in tears, she might have a kidney stone. Those cause server lower back pain until they are passed (come out while urinating) tell her to try a heating pad and some Tylenol...if that fails and/or it gets worse, tell her to go to the hospital, they will do X-rays and find the problem!

If it is a serious problem she might have a herniated disc. My boyfriend lifted something heavy and now has the same problem. He went to a chiropractor and gave him the bad news. You might want to tell her to have her back checked out, especially her being 14.

Get out a heating pad and place it where she aches. Or get a massage. If u 2 are also having unprotected sex she could be pregnant

well, it could just be her period, but my dad had problems with his back a few years ago, and still did. but, he had bulgeing and fractured disks in his back, from lifting too much, hes a shipfitter.
he had to get surgery last june. and he is feeling way better. you might want to get her xrayed.
best of luck!
