no one decides every1 just follows along and one of owa must recent songs that weve made up (sland) when we were playin leeds on boxin day was
jingle bells jingle bells
jingle all the way
oooo wot fun it is to play
leeds on boxing day

that just got started by a fan in the southwest corner AKA crazy corner people normally just make them up for like a player or manger who they have at there team like man city did for niall quinn then it carried on to sunderland

From my experience by going to home games for the last 20 years is ........ someone starts it off the others follow what does it matter in any case .... some fans have no songs other than ones that were copied from the Geordies!!

Actually one person starts chanting something. If the other people like it, then they go along with singing it. And yeah, it's better to sing a song the fans know. I've been there before.

We write them ourselves and are then are transmitted through word of mouth if any good. They are usually started by a few people then it spreads through the ground.

If you want to learn them, then you just have listen!
