My landlord is someone I have known for two years now and is a guy I like very much and he has always shown a great deal of interest in me as a person even though our relationship is strictly platonic and professional and no more than that I am female.

There is no affair or anything like that so this is not about anything to do with one. I have liked this man so much in the last two years that I had almost made a fool of myself in front of him and because I like him very much in a sexual way too but neither of us have crossed the line despite near temptation with each other but we are extremely cautious and aware of trhe nature of our relationship that nothing would ever happen.

A fellow tennant who is male also knows this landlord but not for as long as I have known him. He has visited landlord's house and keeps in contact with him via email I recently only found out. I do not understand why this is when he should have no more contact than the rest of us have with him?

The tennant is someone I share the house with amongst seven other people but have known him for a year. I was so suprised to learn that he has this strange contact with landlord that seems very secretive for my liking and especially as iv'e known my landlord a lot longer and have done a great deal for him as a friend.

I cannot understand the nature of their friendship and he is straight and into women as far as I know so don't think he would be doing things with the landlord. But my landlord has always denied having access to the internet for example and when things have gone wrong on my pc, he kept telling me and others he does not use or have a computer and yet he must if he sends messages to my friend tennant who knows so little about my landlord compared to me.

What is going on and is he telling landlord things about me and others?. I just feel it bizzare and for my landlord lying about not having pc etc and treating me special from others then this man special?

this is a case of bonding, you remained aloof to protect the relationship as landlord / tenant. the male friend has no such issue, it is common for the testosterone loaded to connect this way.

it is, normal, for the most part. unless they are sleeping together, is that your issue?

it seems that you have chosen to keep that arrangement, but maybe you wanted more. this I think maybe what is bugging you.

We all keep secrets.

And he could be using the computer at the local library, did you even consider that?

Give your friend a break and TRUST him, in 2 years he hasn't given you reason not to. He hasn't abused you or your trust! Like you are on the verge of doing.

If you have questions, confide in your "new tenant" your feelings for the landlord and question him "in confidence."

So you thinking that your landlord is having a homosexual relationship with a male tenant. Are you sure he didn't know the guy before he moved into the complex.

Maybe he just feels more comfortable with the other tenant being male. He probably just doesnt feel the sexual tension that he feels when he is around you.

You are jumping to conclusions; Making mountains out of mole hills. You shouldn't meddle in things unless you are truly involved.
