Techno, house, trance, ambient, progressive dance, etc. etc. -- whatever you call it, these CD's are all on the same shelf:
Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto (lots!), the Trance Nation series (import), Paul Van Dyk, Future Sound of London, Underworld, Robert Miles, the American DJ series(with Markus Shulz among others), DJ Matt Consola, the Circuit Grooves series, Lightforce, Trans-Global Ujnderground, St. John Blast The Speakers, John Digweed, Dave Ralph (Tranceport I & II), DJ Sasha (MY FAVORITE SF DJ -- YOU HAVE TO MOVE!), DJ Sammy, THE GREAT Armin Van Buuren (lots!), Ron Van Den Beuken, Moby, M.O.P.E., Oxygen, Massive Attack ..... and more and more.
This is pure ambient, but HIGHLY recommended:
Ambient 2: The Plateau of Mirror, by Harold Budd & Brian Eno
.... another world, dark and beautiful...
