I bought a WPN824 in January, and have been having trouble with it since. I cant return it cause by the time I found that it doesn't work with P2P because it can't handle the multiple connections from apps like uTorrent, Azureus, and Limewire. Would setting up a router between it and the modem, like using it as an access point instead of a router and access point work? Its a problem inherent with these routers as its something about the NAT tables which Netgear doesn't allow you to access through 192.168.1.1. A guy in the forum said it worked for him. How would I go about doing that.

Have you tried disabling the Trend Micro Home Network Security Dashboard. My friend just installed one of these and he has no problem with limewire.

Anyway you can not use the Router just as an access point. The routers functions are integrated and cant just be worked arround to make it work like an access point.
