A party that actually values the Constitution. My party would not allow any ties to lobbyists, especially big oil and big drug companies. We would be disciplined to the highest order. We would allow anyone to run for Congress of any religion or no religion, any race, any sexual orientation, any color, men and women. We would question the govt , look over every bill, rider and earmark. ask the tough questions the Dems and GOP are too afraid to ask. Our party will be welcome to all ideas, though our core values would be a mix of conservative economics and liberal social values, and we would be open to change if it is sound. Requirements are this:

-You must swear on the Constitution, a book of any sort may be placed under it. But the Constitution must be on top.
-No ties to any special interests or lobbyists, you represent the people of your district/state, not the ACLU, ACLJ, NRA, Exxonmobil, etc.
-Because power corrupts the best of us, max 4 terms in the House, and 2 in the Senate.
-Be educated in law, philosophy, and history
-Have a clean criminal record, or have shown a repentamce from the crimes you have commited.
-A Congressman/woman must have a 95% voting attendance record in order to be eligible for re-election.

Though I don't know what to call it, if I could create a political party, I would take the Democratic, Republican, and Libertarian parties, filter out the stuff I don't want, mix in all the rest and create a possible center-right party that has the best of both (or more accurately, the best of three) worlds.
@ iraqisax: If you actually get that idea off the ground, I'd wouldn't vote for you or whoever's running for your party.

It would restore the US Constitution to be what it is supposed to be. It would work to repeal the Sixteenth (Income Tax) and Seventeenth (Direct Election of Senators) Amendments.
It would abolish the Federal Reserve and return to a gold backed currency.
It would work to get us out of the United Nations, and any other foreign entanglements (for pulling us into war when we are not a ttacked). It would strip the executive branch of the putative "War Powers Act", putting the congress on notice that only it can declare war, and there would be no more undeclared wars. THe government would cease and desist attacking any mention of God in public places, including schools, as is required by the First Amendment. It would vigorously support the Second Amendment (Right to Keep and Bear Arms), by encouraging civilian marksmanship. The federal prisons would be run in the same manner as Sheriff Apparo runs his. Prisoners would learn who is in charge. Troops would be withdrawn from around the world to protect our border, in accordance with Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Politicians and government hirlings would not be exempt from prosecution. First on the list would be members of the Clinton Crime Family. We would withdraw recognition of Communist China and re-establish relations with Taiwan. We would work to abolish abortion. Homosexuality would be recognized as a perversion, not a life style. We would take OUR canal back from Panama. We would withdraw from GATT and NAFTA. There would be no North American Union.

The Substance over Style party. A party devoted to actually investigating and doing something substantial about the serious economic, educational, environmental, health, and other issues instead of wasting time on gay marriage amendments, religious posturing, "family values" posturing, tough guy posturing, while doing nothing of real value at all for citizens.

It would have to be the party BITTER. No politcians allowed to join. The one goal is to vote out all incumbants after first term to mess up the option of retirement and let the government know that they are not in control.
