I think that Tom Cruises ego needed to appear more of "the guy in charge".His new wife does a good job of helping that along.
Nicole Kidman was the more normal one of the two.
The funny thing was that Nicole Kidman was relieved to be able to wear heels again after they seperated.
Tom was shoter than she was

I thought it was because there was a stipulaton in their marriage about breaking up after a certain number of years. Also it wasn't profitable for Tom Cruise...something like that....something to do with money....

I agree with your first answer. My suspecions is that he was fooling around, or wanted to fool around. When they broke up.....he never looked back.....and she was heartbroken..
