Im 6 weeks pregnant and have had 2 previous m/c's. I have been spotting brown and bad cramps. Went to the hospital and they said everything looks ok. Spotting and cramps have stopped and now I feel sick to my stomach. Should I stop worrying?? What would cause all this to happen?

This happens a lot. I was told that brown or light pink blood (even coupled with cramping) is really nothing to worry about. It's the bright red stuff that is a cause for concern.

The cause could be implantation bleeding. It is very light (thus the brownish color...the "old blood" color)

Honey, please try to stop worrying. Stress is actually one of the unhealthiest things that could happen to a fetus.

Try to trust the doctors at the hospital. I understand you're worried (I would be too), but try to relax. Everything will be fine.

Go see a doctor please..bleeding or spotting early in pregancy could be a sign of an miscarriage. Although it is not uncommon either to spot a little early in the first trimester...but you have bad cramping so it could be a bad sign. Its good u went to see a doc already...keep an eye on it and see your doctor as soon as possible or go to an emergency room if it gets any worse. I wish you the very best.
I had the same thing happen to me and went to the emergency room...they told me everything was ok..not too worry. I ended up losing the baby two days later...

ESPECIALLY if you get a fever and continue bleeding with cramps....GO SEE YOUR DOC OR GET TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM.

First thing, try not to panic, that only makes things worse. Second, anytime you bleed/spot/bad cramps, you should call your doc if nothing else for your own peace of mind. That's what he's there for. If you are by chance having a miscarriage there's really nothing that can be done, it's your body's way of telling you that something was wrong. It's not abnormal but you do need to see a doc asap. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck.

I would start looking for another ob/gyn. To begin with I hope everything will be fine. Now why i say you should look for a new doc. is because your doc. should of run tests on you after 2 miscarriages in a row they usually or rather I should say should run tests to see what is causing you to miscarry so that it maybe be prevented in the future and you wouldn't have to suffer through that experience again. Spotting is normal but when mixed with cramping it is not so normal but still doesn't mean that you are loosing your baby. . In fact go to this web site . Www. wrongdiagnosis.com/p/pregnancy/wiki.htm and read what they say. I do hope all is well which it probably is.

Yes, stop worrying. Its normal to have a little spotting here and there during the first trimester. Your stomach ache could be due to "morning" sickness (which can happen any time during the day) or stress. Take a bath, drink some chamomile tea, relax!

If the spotting has stopped, you're probably ok. Brown is old blood, not active bleeding. Some women just spot from time to time in their pregnancy, some do it throughout their pregnancy. It just happens and no one knows why.
I know you're afraid of another m/c, but you're going to be fine.

GO to the ER. they can do an exam and find out what is going on. It could be nothing some women have a light period the first month after they become pregnant. It is better to know than to worry.

If this is your first pregnancy, it just means that your uterus is trying to stretch and the brown spotting is just old blood from old periods. I had the very same thing happen to me and it is scary, but that is what the doctor told me. Congrats!!
