Please help want to book my first ever concert tickets. How do I avoid the scammers online? any recommended sites?

Ticketmaster is where you get them from *officially*.

If the concert is sold out then you may need to resort to more desperate measures ...

First check eBay to see how many of them are around and what prices they're going for, just to get an idea.

But don't buy them from there. Get them from smaller sites because that way they'll be cheaper and you can bargain better. If you're in London try Gumtree - www.gumtree.com - it's the way forwards! They also have Gumtree in other areas but I don't know if they're any good.

I posted with the gumtree and got some great tix, but I suppose I could have been scammed. The concert was sold out and I really wanted to go, so it was worth the risk for me. I have also bought tix from showtime and they are very reputable for sold out concerts.

Ticketek and ticket master though are the best for security.

Ticketmaster.co.uk are very good I have used them many times and they don't charge a fortune for booking fees etc.. like other do.

I always use Ticket Master. They are legit and won't scam you.
