Short answer: No it is not your problem. Longer answer: Has he done something stupid, or is it just that he is a little lacking in the intelligence department? People make all sorts of mistakes, and as you know, family members are no different. I think family is important and whilst you can't take responsibility for anyone's stupidity, it is good to be kind. We've all done and said stupid things, and it is really hurtful to be rejected and made fun of. My answer is to just bear with your cousin. If there are consequences to the stupidity, perhaps you could help out to put things right? Don't take the easy way and reject your cousin, be patient and kind, and be a friend.

Depends on the age If shes really young let her believe when If shes like above eight.Ask Her why she thinks Santa's real? and does she reconize the writing on the name tag's? It should work but if shes stubborn I'm sorry But you could also ask if Her parents Go Christmas shopping? Because most parents do and ask her if she gets to go along? Does she buy stuff for her friends. You might also ask her if she is told to go to the car for awhile cause mommy has to buy something special? I quit believing in Santa when i was 3 but i was REALLY smart lol.But does she know movies are just made up?I hope you find this helpful!! This is mainly to help a older kid Quit believing.....

well it sounds like your cousin is young and probably wants to believe in Santa. There's nothing wrong with that as long as that makes her happy. No need to worry over it as we all believed in Santa at one time or another. When she matures she will definitely know there isn't a Santa, but for now, let her fantasize and have fun!

St. Nicholas was real. He was born in Turkey. It is so sad that alot of people don't know the real story of Santa. Your cousin is right, there really is a Santa! On Dec 6 they take oil from his crypt in Turkey and celebrate his life in the St. Nicholas Cathedral. And just so you know Santa is a black man. (I am not saying that because I am black, I am white) its reeeeallly true!

That's cruel. When you grow up and become a parent, you'll understand that children only have that innocent wonderment for such a short period of time. Please don't tell your cousin Santa isn't real. She deserves to believe that and remain in a world where Santa is real for as long as possible. The "real world" is so harsh, don't become a part of it any sooner than you have to.

Why is it so important to make her believe the santa's real? She's probably still cherishing the childhood likeness. But anyways, tell her about how our parents give presents. Or better yet, ask your/her parents to tell ehr that Santa Claus is not real.

Just because the mystique of Santa is gone for you, that doesn't give you any right to ruin it for your cousin. Leave her alone and let her believe what she wants to.

You didn't mention the age of your cousin, but you should just let her believe in what she wants to believe in. why should it bother you so much that she believes in Santa?

Santa is real. Why do you need to convince her that he's not real. What's real to me, doesn't have to be real to someone else. That's the freedom of having our own minds and our own beliefs.

why would you want her to not believe in santa? if shes little then thats sort of a mean thing to do. maybe she doesn't believe in him but she wants to, so she tries really hard.
