How would you compare anime to shows that come on networks like NBC, Fox, etc.?

What do you perfer more and why?

Anime compared to nonanime shows like My name is Earl, etc.

I prefer anime, but I do watch network shows like House, MD. I wish I got the Funimation Network on my cable system.

I think this a hard question actulaly since the two are very different mediums and generally aren't comparable since one is live action and one is animated. it would have been a bit simpler to compare american cartoons to anime since both are animated media.

I don't really think they are comparable since they are two different, very different types. And both target quite different audiences from different cultures. Anime is considered an artwork (in terms of drawing artwork) while network shows are more acting.

I guess you could compare storylines and plots, characters, character and story development and musical scores. But again this is hard as there is a LARGE variety of anime types as there is a variey of network shows (comedy, drama, reality).

So, I'd say they aren't comparable as you need alot of similarites to make a comparison.

but as for preference, I prefer anime more, just because I find it more enjoyable and addicting.

anime is so much hotter. the gusy are so hot and well there are not a lot bs in them. i LOVE anime i cant live wihtout it/

i would say anime is better. but thats just my opinion because im asian and they way the characters and features are drawn amaze me. lol ignore me, im invisible. 8)
