Do you think that the character "Teddy" was telling the truth to Lenny about his wife being diabetic and already having killed the man that raped and killed his wife??

I think you didn't really got the movie "Memento".
Never forget he has no short term memory!!!
It's true, he already killed the raper, but.......
THE RAPER DIDN'T KILL HIS WIFE.... HE DID!!!!!
The story about a guy that killed his diabetic wife, that's him.
This character was made up, it was a way of dealing with his own problem of killing his wife.....
So he killed the raper (of whom he thought killed his wife) to get his 'revenge', then forgot it ON PURPOSE to have another goal in life, just like the ending of the movie, where (for at least the second time) he destroys everything which could remind him of having caught the raper.

I hope this answered your question.
BTW This is one of the best movies ever made!!!
(Seen it ca 5 times now)

Obviously go with handy A. It will be a best film to chill out to, versus the other films where you could possibly have got to invest more energy into. The opposite ones are first-rate films, dont get me fallacious, but handy A is ordinarily the most stress-free one of the vital bunch.

Absolutely - now Lenny was just being manipulated because he could be. It is a great film that can be watched backwards - then it is all sequential! Clever concept

If he did kill his wife's murderer, wouldn't he have tattooed it or written it down so he would be reminded of that fact?

It was on Film 4. I am certainly going to get the DVD to watch it again...

get the dvd , there is a easter egg on it which enables you to watch the film the other way round... insted of the end to the start. That may make it all more easy to unravel.
