My friend is from India and she only dates light-skinned black guys because she wants caramel babies. she gets mad when black guys are with white girls. In addition, she does not like black girls. She was like, "oh my gosh all the girls are liking black guys now and it's making me mad." she isn't even black, so why does she care?

Your friend sounds very shallow.
The issue is why isn't she attracted to indian guys.
Why does she not feel anything for her own culture?
I have no problem at all with interracial dating/marriage, however to rule out people of your own race seems like self hate to me.

She is a bit hypocritcal. If she wants to marry (or have a baby daddy) who is black in any form whether light or dark or what ever she needs to realize that if she gives birth to a girl she will be raising a black woman, and she will be dealing with a whole black family (of the father) full of the guys sisters cousing and mother or even grandmother whom are stuck in her life for the remainer or the childs life... tell her that... that should open her eyes. Otherwise if she does have a little girl with a black guy it could still come out dark... I have a friend whom both or her parents are about the same color as beyonce and she is the color of... kelly... beautiful as a model but you never know. Also if she has a black daughter and she speaks ill of black women she will ruin the girls esteem.

It could be that she has a fantasy image of the perfect caramel baby. Many people are like that though. Since the culture is inn, due to hip hop, she probably wants to be a part of it. The part of she does not like black gils is that she may feel as if they are competition for her as many black men will only date real black women.

Don't think she's much worth having as a friend. Unless you just want to use her as a study subject for some paper you are writing about racism and eugenics.

I am pro interracial relationships, but this girl just sound silly. The colour of your offspring should not dictate who one has relationships with.

A lot of people feel a I want them all to myself thing, even me sometimes, but I just gotta remind myself not to be selfish and their are plenty for everyone. hope that makes sense. :)

it seems like ur friend does not know who she is or what she wants. she is contradicting herself. it seems like she is trying to hide her own insercurities by putting down others.
