Dilbert - You are so right. I agree. My son is the reason I smile and the reason why I have self esteem and so much respect for for myself. You must set a good example for such wonderful people! lol

My children do that for me. When I get home they seem happy to see me, and that makes me feel good about myself. They often hug me spontaneously, and show in a lot of other ways that they sincerely like me. At that age they wear their hearts on their sleeves, so it's easy to tell they're sincere. An adult can give you warm greetings but might just be pretending to like you. Children the age of mine always let you know exactly where you stand, and you can be confident that they aren't just pretending.
