Is The Twilight Zone one of the top 5 television series of all time?

Compelling and shocking story-lines, dialogue that was just like good literature alot of the time, I think this should definately be ranked as one of the top 5 television series of all time

I hope it's right up there in the top 5 - I love watching them - very well-written and every storyline and ending is fantastic and even shocking. It certainly has my vote for the top 5 most intriguing tv series of all time - most definitely. Way to go, Rod! :D

Tales from the Darkside - another of my favorite old time 'shocking' series is along the lines of TZ. If no one has watched 'Tales from...,' I recommend it - great stories! :D

Well, it only had 156 episodes, but even a 5-year-old today knows TZ, so I'd go a step further and say it's the most important television program of all time.

TZ dealt with the core morality of the society watching it. I think it helped people realize their priorities, especially with what all the government was asking of them. Interesting times, and TZ was created at the right time. It sure has lasting power.

There's still an annual fan convention. http://www.tzconvention.com/ Of course, going to New Jersey is like entering the TZ in itself.
