I read Irwin said a long time ago that if his death was filmed, he wanted the public to see it & that if an animal ever harmed him that it wasn't the animal's fault because he was entering their environment & space so he would be getting what he deserved.

It's a shame for his family, but if the public doesn't want to see then don't watch.

I wouldn't watch it, but I agree with a previous answer I was shocked he wasn't killed years ago. He was anything but gentle with animals and didn't treat them respect. Also, if he'd been jailed for child endangerment (for holding his newborn over a croc) he might have learned something and likely wouldn't have been able to travel and film the segment with the sting ray that killed him, so his celebrity status (so he wasn't punished) was part of his downfall.

I probably would watch it and then cheer for the sting ray. That "Hunter" was always harrassing animals and acting like a nitwit -- that's the truth and anyone who says different never saw one of his "shows" in person or heard Irwin speak. The only clever thing he said was that if an animal harmed him it wasn't the animal's fault, it would be his.

You Know, some ppl would say "how can you watch.. bla bla bla.." Maybe even I would say that. But We are also very curious people.. so If I could I probably would watch it.. It doesn't make me bad or "weird".. And he said he would like people to watch it.. so there is nothing wrong with it I guess.

I respect Steve Irwin and his wishes, but I wouldn't want to see his death. I love animals and I would never hurt them and I know that it wasn't the sting ray's fault. I understand why he wants the public to see his death, but I have never seen anyone die in my life (other than in movies, when it's fake anyway) and I really don't plan on it.

Yeah. It's what Steve would have wanted me to do. If what you say is true, anyways.

RIP Steve
