It is one of the simplest plumbing tasks around, provided you have the strength to do it.

Remember it is the large pipe, probably black.

The bottom, will undo by pushing the wrench away from you, the top is in the opposite direction.

I usually just do the top one, cause the little elbow will move, and the ring or whatever can be removed with a pair of needle nose pliers, or any long pair of tweezers.

Good luck!

You can do it its very easy. Get a bucket, turn the water off and unscrew it and get your earring back. You dont need a man or plumber. I done it plenty of times. I drop earring and neck lace charms down there all the time.

in case you look under the sink, you will see the place the pipe bends on the backside. commonly in case you drop something down the sink, you will locate it in that bend. place a extensive bowl or pot under the bend and unscrew the threads on each and each end of the bend (you will probable want a pipe wrench). enable the water drain into the bowl, unload the contents of the bent pipe into the bowl, then experience around on your earring interior the water.

Yeah if you know one call a guy over too do it. It's hard to get it tigh back on. Just get a towel and a bucket and out under the pipe so if any water is in it. I hate to do that. I would get it out tho

Unscrew it yourself. It is not difficult to screw the pipe back. When screwing the pipe back together, tighten it "snug" and test it for leaking. If it still leaks, tighten it more and test for leaking.

you don't need a plumber. and you don't need to turn the water off. (its the drain pipe, water doesn't come out of it..) it should come apart and go back together easily.
