yeah there is no age limit for buying condoms. I am 17 years old turning 18 in July and I have bought condoms before and I have some friends that were buying condoms when they were 15 years old.

Honestly I don't believe there is any law AGAINST it, but from what I've seen most places will refuse to sell them to anyone under 18.
It's kind of ironic, that in today's age where kids are starting to have sex younger and younger... 12-13s (some even younger!) There are some who are at least TRYING to be mature.
Let's be honest. No parent can watch their kid 24/7. If they're going to have sex, they're going to have sex. It's like smoking and alcohol in a way. Sure, those are illegal, but kids who want those things will FIND someone to buy for them.
I don't know how old you are, and unlike many of these ppl, I am not judging you. I respect you for the fact that at least you are smart enough to want to use protection. Most people on here I have seen rip into ppl who are writing in saying 'I'm 14 and preggers' and such, but what can you expect when stores refuse to sell condoms to kids, so instead they go and have sex anyways unprotected and end up pregnant.
Everyone is quick to blame the kids that are having sex, but in truth I think people need to understand that with sex everywhere today, in the movies, tv, etc, how can we expect any less from these kids? It's made out to be some glorious act that is either protrayed as fun, exciting, or some other form that makes it look appealing.
So why not stop trying to blame these kids, and at least give them some respect for having the maturity and the smarts to protect themselves, instead of cut them down. The blame needs to be going to society in general, for putting sex everywhere you look today, and to these stores that refuse to sell things like condoms because they THINK they have the right to control someone else's decisions for them.
These are the things that are in many ways just as responsible for the underage pregnancies in the world.
Truthfully, sit down with a parent and talk to them about it. Dad's are usually a bit more understanding to boys (usually). Be honest, though.. let them know you know it's better to wait until you're older, but you'd rather be safe on the side of caution then not. Hopefully your parents will understand, and while you'll have to suffer thru the ol' Sex Talk, perhaps your parents will at least hope you'll be safe and provide you with them 'just in case.'
Sorry this was so long, but I felt compelled to say how things really are in the world today.
Best of luck, bud.

some store clerks are stupid and will say no, but usually yes. it would be unethical for teenagers not to be able to do that.
