someone on here thought this question was offensive, but i don't think it is. i think if there is a question and u don't know the answer to it than ask. someone probably never spoke to u about homosexuality. people lie to their children out of fear. so the truth is people are born gay and their family ussually don't like it. most families eventually come to accept it.

i am not gay.

Im gay .... Research have shown that you cant choose to become gay or striaght it's a phisical thing ... im happy being gay i might hate some discrimination cases toward being gay but this is the way im and i cant change it and if i can i wont

my family were disapointed at the begining ,the felt like it's more of a sissy thing, and my parents are old fashion they think im not happy being gay or at least i would be more happy if i marry a female and bring kids .... but then they handle it very well...

by the way im getting married to my partner in the summer ...

I didn't 'become' gay, I always have been. I knew, because I felt strongly that I wasn't attracted to girls, and was very much attracted to boys.
I came out aged 12 at school, but didn't get round to mentioning it to my parents until I was 17 and had a serious boyfriend, but they'd guessed years before and had time to get used to the idea - they've always been very supportive.

There really isn't anything for you to 'understand', except that every single person is different, so most will feel differently and act differently from you. And that's the way it should be.

My mother gave birth to me, I remember liking boys when I was younger than 10, I didn't know what it meant to be gay then but when I got older it intensified. I dreamed about having sex with other males my own age, in the dreams it would be two guys having sex and started developing crushes on boys who I went to school with. My family knew since I was little that I was gay, they were just waiting for me to come out and wondered what took me so long when I did.

Im not gay, however your question is offensive. "...but i don't really understand "how you could be"

Make sure you know that there is different people, whether you agree or not. Many people in the world are homosexual and they do this because they believe thats what they were supposed to be since birth. I am just giving ideas, however I am not in favor of homosexuality but I do respect those who are part of it :)

Um, well. I still haven't come out to them. I'm still technically in the closet but some of my friends know i'm bi. Wait...i should really have asked that first. i'm bi, is that impertinent to the question? Do i have to be Full Fledge Gay in order to do this question lol? Well anyways
I had sex with a friend, well it was more like expierementing and at first i wasn't sure. Beforehand i had never really asked myself my orientation. After we did stuff i was pretty sure i was gay. then i started finding out i liked chicks too. So after a long while of knowing myself, i figured out i'm bi. More gay then straight. But yer.

Well I'm Bi, and when I started noticing boys, i started noticing girls to. It wasnt something that I decided for myself. Its just the nature of who I am. I like men and I like the ladies. I cant help but love the c*ck, but there is something about ladies that drive me wild. The curves, the boobs, the booty, EVERYTHING....I love girls, always have, always will.

My mom always knew, when I introduced her to my first girlfriend was the first time I ever SAID anything, but later my mom told me she always knew, and shes ok with it. My dad, when he found out, he was drinking some of his coffee and of coarse did the whole spray out your mouth thing and said "Really, thats cool, maybe you can try to find me a girlfriend" (my parents are divorced and have been most of my life). It was awesome that my parents were supportive and really didnt care that I was Bi.

I do have friends that dont have the same responses with their parents as I did. I feel sorry for them. I can understand how someone wouldnt be gay, but to pass judgement on someone who is, well, its just wrong. To each his own. Being gay is as natural to me and it is for you breathe air or eat food. Nothing wrong with breathing or eating, aint nothing wrong with enjoying the finer things in life...hhhmmmm ladies!!!!

You don't get it because you are attracted to the opposite sex. It makes sense that you would not really 'get' being attracted to the same sex. Many gay folks feel the same way about the opposite sex.

Perhaps instead of trying to 'understand' how we can be attracted to the same sex, it is enough that you RESPECT the fact that we are. In the same way that you found yourself, in puberty, suddenly interested in boys, I found myself suddenly interested in girls.

My family doesn't have an issue with it.

im not gay, but one does not just randomly "become gay", they are born that way...people really get too caught up in the whole gay thing, its just a characteristic of some one!

Honestly, it first happened for me when I first held a girl (or a girl first held me) sexually. I was pretty young (9) and I knew right there that I was at least bisexual. I kept experimenting untill I was 12, when I first had sex with a guy. From that moment I knew I was bi.

My family was pretty cool about it. My mother caught me with a girl when a I was 14. My dad found out later. It probably wasn't what they were expecting but they love me.
