Anyhow, I can write with both hands but I must write a little slower with my left. Does this mean I am ambidextrous or can everyone write with both hands if they slow down?

I'm pretty sure you are ambidextrous. I only know two ambidextrous people, one guy I think can write normally with both hands, and the girl I know, I think she can write with both hands, but maybe a little slower with one. I am right handed and when I try to write with my left hand it looks like a pre-schooler did it, so I'm basically helpless in that department, lol. Maybe you just need to practice on your left hand a little more. Does it look like the same way you right with your right hand?

Sounds pretty sweet, especially when you get hand cramps, lol. Lucky! ;-)

Ambidextrous is more than just writing with both hands. It is when you use both hands for different stuff. For example I write with both hands but mostly with my left but I can only use scissors with my right hand and I throw a ball with my right hand. I use a fork with my left. I use the mouse with my right. When I was younger and sometimes got in fights I would hit with my right hand. I can use the calculator with either hand. While writing I can write equally well with either hand and feel comfortable doing it. By the way yes I am ambidextrous

The term is a little unclear. Do you favor one side over the other? Normally it means using both hands with equal ease. It is even more unclear when asked if you are left or right handed. I write with my left hand but my right hand is the stronger and that is where I use tools, etc. Am I left or right handed?

I would just qualify the answer when asked the question.
