Some of these I don't particularly care for. I would like to give these to a woman's shelter or something along those lines. Please give sugestions.

sound cool to me I give alot of stuff I don't want/ need to the less fortunate it is better than throwing it away

Donating them to a woman's shelter is a wonderful idea. I went through some hard times a few years back and I lived in a shelter for about 3 weeks before I got my own place and those ladies really do appreciate that kind of stuff.

That is a great idea. Look in the phone book to find a battered womens shelter, nursing home, even a church that takes donations can help get it to someone that would appreciate it.

Take them to a homeless shelter. Look in the yellow pages for names, addresses and telephone numbers of shelters.

There are so many unwanted gifts that we get from relatives, friends especially at this point of time. Then you just cannot throw these away and if you cannot return them back you may as well give them away to those whom you know would appreciate your gesture. They will thank you for this and you yourself will feel good from within. Best wishes.

Candles are always an excellent and easy gift. Everyone uses candles, doesn't really matter what scent. Stick with the basics!

I think that's very nice of you. Check the phone book for "Crisis Centers". They will collect the items and give them to the women's shelters.

I'd send them overseas to the men and women fighting in Iraq and other areas. Even if all of your gifts are girly, there are lots of women over there who'd love them.

We leave unwanted but useful things "beside" the dumpster in a box .it is always gone by morning
