I just got my haircut yesterday and the we bought this thing called Bed Head manipulator. Bed head is the company (btw) But I was wondering how I use it... I have layered hair and she said it was to spike it and style it but I didn't get what she was saying, anyone know?

see link below from the tigi website. they are the manufacturer for the bedhead line of products. i don't know that this is the right product for spiking hair. if that's what you are going for. it says you can, but to me it looks like more of a product that I could use for defining curls while air drying wet hair. click on the link below and then move the arrow to the right and find the product.

use a really tiny bit (a little goes a loong way) dispersed on your fingertips. For extra texture, lightly pull at small sections of your hair to spread the goop through, don't use a brush or comb in your hair after styling.

If your hair is short enough to be spiked, or you want more extreme texture, use more product and pull sections of your hair starting at the roots. This stuff can weigh your haiir down, so if your hair is chin to shoulder length, avoid pulling *down* too hard when styling, and avoid putting any on the roots (concentrate more on the tips of your hair).

kind of hard to describe without showing you how to do it in person.
