Hi Ashkon
It's growing steadily.Crowd numbers are increasing and matches are getting better TV coverage, though not on free to air stations. Very popular among kids and young adults in participation. Most watched, probably not. It is shown in a different season to our other football codes but I think they would still out rank football(soccer). It's getting there..lol...Australia, that is. Take care, bye.

What? Soccer in the US is ranked dead last after hockey and Nascar racing. How sad is that?
Soccer is the 6th most watched and liked sport in the US.
You could ask 50 random people in the us who won the MLS Championship for 2006 and they would not have a clue. At best you would get someone that guessed and said the United? Nope.
Yes, a lot of young kids play the game but it's only to get exercise.
Very few actually want to pursue the game beyond that.
There simply is no passion for the sport of soccer in the US and people really need to get over it and deal with it.

Not popular at all. honestly i dont like soccer i watched the world cup and i didnt catch the so called "world cup fever". I think MMA (mixed martial arts) is more popular than soccer in the USA so soccer is ranked 7th. MMA is the real deal and its here to stay. soccer is just a come and go sport in the USA.

It's called America, United States! Football is quite popular, among hispanics that is. Other races like whites and blacks watch more American football, basketball, baseball, even hockey. Football soccer is more popular among my race, los hispanos. So yeah, we watch alot of football soccer, it's rare to see whites or blacks watch the sport.

it's ranked just below midget tossing here in the states. football(american), NASCAR, baseball, basketball, and golf dominate TV sports here, they don't even show soccer on TV, unless you have some obscure european or south american soccer channel package.
