I'm not a very fun person, and I tend to overanalyze situations. The analysis is fun intially, but the conclusions tend to be quite depressing. The easiest way to have fun is the one of least resistance, I find. Let others be who they're giong to be and allow them to work within comfort zones of their own choosing, the only interference or criticism when you find them in situations that are self-destructive or harmful. Work with people, not against them; you'll find individuals more willing to listen to you and that they'll be more accomodating when you give them their just due, percieved or otherwise, upfront. If you can't beat them join them. I've realized that I simply cannot beat the overwhelming majority of the situations I'm thrust in so I join them, find out what I can so that I'm more charismatic, loveable, fun, etc, and then leave for the next one.

But you have to be comfortable in your own skin. Without knowing who you are, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, will get you bent out of shape, retreating to the corner of the room you're safe in. I don't run into the place loud, aggressively, but like to take my time and assess the situation, and then come out on my own over time. Don't let anyone push or pull you into something when you're not ready, stay in control. If you're in control, of yourself if nothing else, you'll be more comfortable and will actually experience some enjoyment and fulfillment for a change.

Maybe because you are tired of this material miserable world (Maya, Illusion) and looking for reality. We are not this body and have nothing to do with it that is an illusion. We are eternal spirit souls, part and Parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. If you are looking for actual happiness go to krishnaculture. Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada It tells the propose of human life. Why should you try to force something that is not here (material happiness) It's an illusion. That would be like picking up an old piece of gum and trying to get some flavor out of it. (it's not their). You have probably been to this material world time and time again and are wanting reality.

You might try doing more things about which it is hard to be serious--walking on the beach or in the woods, swimming, playing a game with a child planning to let them win, etc. Stay away from things about which you feel seriously. For instance, if you take politics to heart, stop watching the news. You might want to stop watching the news for a while anyway, as almost all news is bad. If you must watch something, get a Marx Brothers movie. Good luck.

look at some people who seem to have a lot of fun. Try and emulate them. Do whatever you want. Let go. Life is too short to hold back on the fun.

Just don't care what anyone thinks about you. Do what you do and don't worry about anyone else. Relax, be yourself, and let go.

don't worry so much about things. And don't care too much about what others think.
