Beware just any glue will not work. Many glues will make polystyrene melt. Liquid Nails can be purchased at hardware stores like Lowes. It comes in the same kind of tube as window caulking and can be found in that section of the store. Liquid nails holds very well and sets up pretty fast. I use it to glue my tombstones together at Halloween.

The best glue for polystyrene period is a 3M latex type glue. It is brushed on and is green. The bad news is that it takes a little while to set up, and is a little more difficult to handle. This glue is stronger than the foam
itself.

Most glues will work. For extra strength stuff, the two part epoxy resin is best.

if you can find a way to clamp the 2 pieces together you could try spray foam i know it will stick to the foam because we use it to fill in gaps around foam and its hard to get off when dry
