I need to know if it's appropriate to take my three year to. If I'm going to be bawling at the end I don't think it's something I need to take her to.

Thanks! My idiot husband tried to tell me the pig dies and that made no sense to me. I couldn't figure out how they could just change the ending to one of the most classic stories of all times. Charlotte dies...we all know that....that makes more sense. Thanks for the help....except Sam, who was not helpful! :-)

It is not Wilbur that dies, Charlotte dies after laying her eggs. My 3 year old saw it and had no problems. It is a very good movie and she really liked it.

Wilbur doesn't die. Charlotte the spider dies. And it's just a movie, it's not that catastrophic. I think that you and your son or daughter will be fine.

No Wilbur doesn't die, Charolotte the spider dies. It's a cute movie.... I don't know if you three year old will necessarily notice that Charolotte is dead. Tell her she fell asleep. I think the movie is very appropriate children movie so don't worry about it!
