You cant bring things that would help you off the island. If you have to pick 5 things it shows you what is the most important to you.

My Ipod--> the island parties can't work without music
A giant box of junk food--> to eat when the bananas and the coconuts on the island fail
A lighter or a match box--> to make a bonfire...i don't have the patience to rub twigs
My favourite books--> so I don't lose contact with the 'civilized' human world
My blanket--> I have had it since I was 6...to keep me warm...

a boat with enough fuel in it to get me off the island and somewhere safe- to get off island
a cellphone- to call people to save me
ipod-so i wont get bored
book/magazine- to read so i am not bored
camera- so i can have fun taking pictures of things

I chose the cell, ipod, and book because sooner or later i'll get bored.
