I need this question answered for my class-and i cant find an answer---so here it is----"Name six slide layout placeholders and state the purpose of each one".

Open PowerPoint.
Select Format
Select Slide Layout
On the right side of your screen you should have a task plane open. It will give you the names of different slide layouts. The explantion of the purpose of each one shouldn't be too hard to figure out from there.
Example: Title, Text and Media Clip (Name) To have the slide subject visible, some text to help explain the media clip and a video to demostrate a topic (Purpose).
