Is anyone as happy as me for the giants to resign Barry Bonds and also sign Barry Zito away from the A's and in the face of the Mets and Yankees.

Barry Bonds is old can't play defense anymore and can barely play offense... Barry Zito is way overpaid. I guess you could say that I'm excited since I'M A DODGER FAN

I'm not a Giants fan, but signing Bonds is just smart business. If anyone in the league pays for his own contract by putting asses in the seats it's him. I am a Twins fan, and as villified as Bonds is, I would LOVE to have seen the Twinks get him! Zito is great, I am glad he's out of the AL. He may be overpaid, but if the Giants didn't do it, someone else would have and they had to replace Schmidt. They have a nice rotation for years to come w/ Zito, Cain, Lowry...

OK its time to take a deep breath, yes the G men resigned an AGEING homerun hitter, and a solid pitcher...... So lets take a look at this from a non giants fan perspective. First off lets talk about Zito He is going to be VERY lucky if he has a decent year this year because of the DISMAL run support the giants are know for in the WEAK nl west.... and as far as BARROID goes he is ALL ABOUT HIM and doesnt give a SH!T about what team he is on its all about BARRY.......So once he gets the record plan on alot of late inning NAPS in the clubhouse from your HERO!!!!!

Bonds should be breaking rocks in jail. He lied to a grand jury. I feel sorry for you Giant fans giving him all that money for the past 3 years when you could have had 3 great prospects for all those years and alot more money to get better players. He faked injuries to get sympathy and you all fell for it.

One is a winner, one is a loser. Bonds should quit before he breaks Aaron's record. The Giants are a .500 team not good enough for post season.
