Some women get pregnant right off the depo shot and some have to go to a specialist to get pregnant.

I was on the depo shot for three years and once i stopped taking it i became pregnant in a year (well 11 months)

Depo-Provera is not a good choice if you want to be pregnant in the next year or two. Why? Because it typically takes 9 to 10 months to become pregnant after you stop taking Depo-Provera as a contraceptive. It could even take up to 24 months after discontinuing use of Depo-Provera for you to become pregnant. The length of time you use Depo-Provera has no effect on how long it takes you to become pregnant.

It merely relies upon on how fertile you're. i change into on depo for further or less 3 years after the beginning of my son. when we needed to bypass for #2. i change into anticipating it would want to take about 6 months, I stop taking the shot and change into prego the subsequent month. My female friend change into on depo for further or less a similar era of time and it took her 365 days to get prego. strong success

my cousin had a friend that was on that shot, and health department will tell you 6 or 12 months, it's best just to call and ask so you can be sure if you're trying to get pregnant, good luck it's a hard process, you have to keep track of 2 of your periods to know exactly when you're going to ovulate, I don't know if you knew that or not already but I was just letting you know in case you didn't , good luck. and go to www.thepregnancyplace.com they're so nice and friendly there, you're bound to make a bunch of pregnancy and TTC friends. have fun.

all depends on your system. They say the hormones will go out of your system within a day, but your ovulation has to come back and your system has to be "regular"
