That's why when you watch a movie or TV show, you see a doctor asking the patient, "Are you sexually active?" or Pharmaceutical commercials stating the same thing for a Herpes drug when a cartoon is on a commercial break.
Sexually active or sexual activity can lead to STD's, which stands for Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Such as Genital Herpes to AIDS.
Protected sex is constantly being promoted along side abstaining, which means just not having sex until marriage.
Protected sex means the mail wearing a condom, which covers their sexual organ so no fluids pass through to cause pregnancy or transmit bacteria or viruses. But, accidents happen, so it doesn't always work.

medically or clinically the sexual activity starts from the time a person reaches puberty and in women fro the time the menstrual cycle starts till the menopause when it stops. this is the biological body cycle. sexual activeness is a state of mind when there is a desire for sex with one or mutiple partners. having regular sex is being sexually active

sexually active mean u have urge for sex...it dosent relate with virginity or intercourse..simply having desire for sex means that u r acive..gen around age of 45 or after birth of baby womens loose intrest in sex for sometime ie..become sexually inactive
