If your company is a publicly traded business then they have to file an earnings report. Knowing their trading code will offer you insight into what they made last year.
If it is privately held, I don't think that they need to make public any earnings.

"Made no $$" was probably a euphemism for made no profit rather like many airlines . . . they have a lot of cash flow but expenses exceeded revenues so they "lost $$".
As bonus is a gift from the company , they are not actually under any obligation to give them out , unless they are stipulated in your contract .
Does your contract mandate a bonus ?
As far a profits and revenue , look them up on Yahoo finance if they are publicly traded . . . the Key Stats section has the $$ info . If they are a private company , forget it . . . their books are private unless they are publicly traded.
