Why do we need to defend ourselves on here? Like what they say will actually harm us, and make us porcreate with white people. you know, I thought that once I reached my 20s, ignorant people would just disappear and there would be no more racism in the world. Dam was I mistaken.

Very simple answer: You don't (need to defend yourself) :-) And yep, unfortunately you were very mistaken, I guess prejudice, ignorance, racism etc can thrive very well in people of all ages and cultures. I suppose those of us who pride ourselves on not being individuals in whom those "qualities" flourish should be a little careful in not judging others too harshly though or we've let them find a foothold in us nevertheless :-)

I can't stand ignorant racist people. They are always imposing their uneducated views on the public. And they are always putting down the same people who helped build this country. Our country was built by immigrants and minorities. Built by them yet we still treated them like second rate citizens. I wish that they would all go away but that's just not going to happen. We are going to have to deal with racism until people grow up and open their minds. People fear what they don't understand. I don't know what they expect. Do they expect a country of mindless people who all look alike or can we have this melting pot and learn from other races and cultures.

Yeah.... in fact bigots are the only group of people I'm bigoted against.

Don't lose heart though, I'm convinced that the human race has come a long way towards abandoning these silly prejudices in recent years. It doesn't seem like it in this forum, of course, but I imagine that is because angry hateful bigots actually have nothing better to do with their time than sit down in front of their computer and spit poison anonymously. If they had any friends-- if they actually had a life-- they wouldn't be in here so often.

Most of the people I hang out with in the non-virtual world don't pay attention to a person's skin color any more than they pay attention to a person's hair color.

It never ceases to amaze me to what depths people will go to in their mindless quest for ignorance, depravity, and arrogance.

I can't stand racists not only for their beliefs, but because most are spineless cowards as well.
