cause they call you jenny for short. If you dont know them ask them how they know you.

If I was your best friend in the entire world and you were godmother to my children and we would go on road trips, I still wouldn't call you Jenny. I like Jennifer. Classy name.

Jenny's better than some of the things you were being called on here earlier for sure....that makes me sound like I've got nothing better to do than sit under the stairs all day on this thing doesn't it, hmmm....note to self, must venture outside tommorrow and mix with other mortals....ughhh shudder shudder.

I know! My daughter's name is Jennifer and it's such a beautiful name, that's why we named her that. When she was younger and someone telephoned her and asked for Jenny, we said there was no one here by that name, are you asking for Jennifer? You have a beautiful name so tell them your name is Jennifer, not Jenny.

I hate that. My name is Bridget and some people clal me Bridge that don't know me. I had a teacher in high school do that. I told him I don't call u Bob, so don't call me Bridge. And I never acted up or talked back in school, but he really pushed my buttons by doing that.
Some of my clients tried to do it and I correct them and say to call me Ms. (my last name).
If i don't know u don't assume.

It's just short for your name, but they don't know not to call you that. That's another reason I use dorkboy instead of FJDKFJJ. They can get that wrong and it won't tick me off in the slightest.
