Ok, I'm going to be an online editor, which I currently get paid just over £37,000 here in the UK, which is approximately 93 Australian dollars. However, the wage I'm being offered is around $65,000 - is that a fair wage?

Woah huge gap!! I suppose the average wage by that I would think factory, shop, etc workers? The average would be about $600 - $800 Gross. That would be for a 5 day 40 hour week, before Tax.

you should check if your allowed to work on a student visa. Wages are dependent on your age and your award. But you should get at least $15 per hour

What is the wage you have been offered and the job type.

That would help us give you an indication of whether is it fair.
