The slope is undefined and there is no y-intercept.

x=-1 is a vertical line that punches through the x-axis at (-1,0)

There is no Y-intercept, the function is a straight vertical line with an x-intercept of -1.

The slope is undefined. Slope=rise/run, since it is a vertical line, for a rise of any amount, the run will be zero. The result of anything divided by zero is undefined

I think you left something out on accident...Re-Post the question exactly word for word as it is in the book.

Example...: x should be (x,x) not just (x).. there are two coordinates for each point. X and Y. What is the other coordinate? Like...(-1,0) or something..?
