Depends on the age of the kids and why you're singing.
If it's to pay off a bet then go with I'm a Little Teapot.

Either Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day, or What If I Stumble by DC Talk. I have sung both of those countless times for classes and functions, and they are so easy to master. However, Good Riddance is best done with an acoustic guitar, and What If I Stumble is best sung a cappella. Good luck with your singing! =)

It depends a lot on the class you're directing it, the level and the subject, theme or topic. Songs in classes must be closely releated to these issues, specially the theme cause that way students willremeber that theme / topic whenever they listen to the song, it will be more relevant to them.

My audition song for Juilliard was

Do you know? By: Diana Ross from the Movie she did with billy Dee. (Drawing a total blank on the name of the movie right now...sorry?)

I picked it because it was easy...

I have always liked performing "What a feeling" too By: Irene Cara... It is a great feeling song. I guess because it's from Fame?

Hinder.......Lips of an Angel ( I just love that song )

If this is for a Acting/Choir class you should sing a song from a popular play.
