I am having alot of lower buring pain in my adominal muscles . Is it ok to put a heating pad on it if I put it on low or will it hurt the baby . Is this pain normal ? This is my third child and I don't remeber having this before .

no this is not normal you should contact your midwife straight away it sounds like an infection good luck mum of eight

I thought colostrum appears only after a few days or so of giving birth? It could be something else? You should try taking another pregnancy test, and yeah it could be frustrating to get prego when you have an irregular period. But if you think you're pregnant and you mentioned you haven't had period for a few months now, you should have at least feel signs of pregnancy you know... nausea, vomiting and all? Better yet, go to your doc!

You could put a heating pad on it I think, just not for too long. A warm bath would be a better alternative.

Maybe you are going into labor!

You can put a heating pad, but not too hot! Just keep it warm so not to harm your baby.

I would call your OB and describe the pain to her so she can't decide if she wants to see you!!

You should check with your doctor. I remember getting some abdominal pain but was told that it was just the the baby getting into position.
