I believe one of the first people to "suggest" rap was white im not sure thats before my time, I love rap and i too cant figure out why people are racist, Its just that I guess they think since it requires talent that other races dont always have(which is very not true)that talent and they start to put them down becuase they are jelous that someone is better than them,

I hate people who are racist its so very wrong! cant we all just get along and grow up?

Grammer? Good that you're so tight in that respect LOL
Rap is an expression of emotions of a very clearly defined ethnic/socail group, and Eminen and other whiteys are fakes - even if they do come from ghettos and slums, they still have the advantage of being white, only choose to not use it. It's like Eric Clapton and blues - his music is great and all, it's just so... chidlish, compared to B.B. King, even if they are friends and collaborators and all. Or Sting with that horrible Arabic-wannabe song many years back, Desert Rose or so - SO STUPID, a complete waste of air, and not remotely close to anything authentic. So, the "many people" feel that the pop indistry tries to pull off another "Elvis over Chuck Berry" act - let's remember that Elvis stole everything from Berry and became popular only because Chuck was black.

Well...its not that a lot of people are racist when it comes to rap music, people are against anyone that comes out talking about a lifestyle they know nothing about.Like for instance, when Eminem came on the scene, everybody (at least the people I know) respected his flow.Because what emeinem raps about,is what he lives. He never came out with something that he himself didn't relate to.The same for Paul Wall.Paul raps about what he seen on a daily basis growing up.But one the other hand, you have rappers like Kevin Federline. What the hell does he know about rap?Nothing!!!Its not just white rappers that people discriminate against, because a lot of people hated on Nelly when he did a song with Tim McGraw.they called him a sellout. The same for Diddy,Mase, and a lot of other rappers.People got upset when Jay-Z called himself a rock star.People were mad when Nas said hip hop is dead. If you are not true to it,then trust me,you wont get respect. No matter how good of a flow you got. And that's definitely not a black or white thing.

Didn't Elivs get some of his style from late great James Brown? Secondly, a lot of blacks especially the ones from new york like eminem. So I really dont see the racism there since we are the birthplace of hip-hop and rap. Maybe in other places but in new york we say if you can rap then you can rap no matter the race

Commercial rap (the crap on the radio) is awful...however, I'm as white as they come and I love underground hiphop (KRSone, Tech Nine, Pharaoh Monche, etc.) It's mainly looked down on for the creation of "ebonics" and slaughtering the english language with slang and cut-off words, disecting the american culture and negating a literary society eventually. But the same can be said for any popular dialect.

I really don't know, personally i think that eminem does his thing alot better than some black rappers. Perhaps Eminem could try swivelling his hips like Elvis to break the barriers...it's not above nor below his sense of humour.

The only thing i can think of is that traditionally rap and hip hop have been aimed at black people and about issues relating to them. however, Eniem hasn't had an easy life so whatever i dunno

i'm Asian and that i do unlike rap the two. no longer that I hate it. i'm merely no longer that fascinated in the direction of rap. i'm extra into classical track. and that i do no longer think of it is incorrect in case you do unlike rap. I imply, each and every individual has distinctive flavor. merely like while somebody claims to be extra interested in a definite race/ethnicity. It would not propose that the guy is a racist. it is merely his/her determination. it is all. Oh, you're able to additionally undergo in ideas that there are a share of white rappers besides as black classical musicians and different musicians of alternative races/ethnicities too; so my factor is: track is meant to be customary, no longer clustering human beings.
