I just left my grandmother's funeral and have decided I have the most disfunctional family ever...........

I think everyone thinks that their own family is the most dysfunctional, no matter what...because families can be so hard to live with, that you can not imagine anything else being worse than your own. We all have problems and its tough...Sorry about your grandmother :(

To put it in a nutshell: you come from a disfunctional family you will be disfunctional, you are comfy around disfunctional mates, so you will pick someone disfunctional and create a new disfunctional family

How do you decide dysfunctional and what do you base this on.Were there arguments,no communication,no sorrow.What???Why do you feel this way???You should not feel this way and funerals usually bring family members closer together.There must be a reason why you said this and you need to address the issue so you don't pass this learned and tolerated behavior on to your kids.So Very Sorry to hear about your Grandmother I know how I miss mine everyday.Tell us what we can do to help you.God Bless!!!!

A lot of people are disfunctional! Not every family is perfect.

Oh boy, funerals are just so much fun.
Honestly, I don't think that any family is "functional" by the widespread definitions of "dysfunctional family" all families qualify.

my brother ran away when he was 16, he's now 20 haven't seen him since. My grandad sexually abused me when i was 7 ish for years and now we have no contact with my dad's side of the family. Other than me, all the other family members have dropped out of school with the exception of those in comprehensive schooling, My mum and dad hate each other but won't divorce cos they're strict roman catholics.
Disfunctional enough for you?

I really think my family could win the title of most dis-functional. I don't think many families are actually functional though I think that might be an oxymoron to have a functional family.

No sweetie i think i have you beat.My family is beyond disfuctional,the reason i say this is .We have the crack the 50yr old garden tool who slept with my baby's daddy.And the wanna be Divia who's on a freakin budget
