You probably have the resolution set too low, which is making things on your desktop appear overly large. To chance this, right click on any blank space on your desktop and click on "Properties". Click on the "Settings" tab on top of the resulting window, and you will see a slider bar at the lower left of the window to slide to change the resolution. Slide the bar so that a higher resolution shows, then click on "Apply", and then "OK". Do this in one increment at a time until the desktop and icons look as they did before. Good luck.

Hi. Left click on an empty area of your desktop, then click on properties, then settings. Adjust the screen size to a higher value but, IMPORTANT, click Apply, not OK. This way if you select a value that your monitor does not support it will revert back in 15 seconds.

Sounds like something changed your resolution> right click the desk top -- >click properties-->click settings<> there is a slider that adjusts your resolution move that to the right and your screen should return to normal.

Your resolution may be too small. Right click on the screen and click on properties. Click on the settings tab. Make the screen resolution "more".
