You body can only process a certain amount of vitamins it needs - period. The rest go straight out in your urine - ever get that smelly vitamin smelly urine after a lot of vitamins - then you know what I'm talking about.
And, the body will only process vitamins if there is food on your stomach - don't eask me why - ask you nutritionist.
So take you vitamins after or during you meal. But take only what you need - vitamins aren't cheap - and you effectively **** the excess ones away.

Large doses of some fat soluble vitamins are toxic. There are some water soluble vitamins which also have toxic effects when megadosed; but usually they pass through the metabolic channels and are excreted without problem.
The chief aim of vitamin therapy is to achieve a state where the ratios of blood concentration augment the efficacy of everything overall.

It depends on which vitamins you take. Water soluble vitamins such as vitamin C will not hurt you since you get rid of any excesses when you urinate. If it is an oil based vitamin, you could risk toxicity from larger than recommended doses. This could be very serious!

Not much different than taking your regulars dose of pills. . . your body will only absorb so much, the rest will just get "pissed-away".
For the maximum effects, take vitamins with something to eat, you will absorb way more of your nutrients. Good-luck, and don't waste your money. . .

Not much. Any vitamines that your body does not use, it'll just come out in your toilet. But don't take a bunch just to see.

water-soluble vitamins will flush through your body, but the ones that are not water soluble can poison your system and you should call your doctor if that is the case. for example, large quantities of iron can kill.

They could make you sick to the stomach. After a certain amount, your body just says no and throws it back at ya.
