Home tests rarely give false positives, only false negatives....If you've had 3 positives, then I think it's a safe bet that you're pregnant. (Even a faint plus sign counts as a positive....I had one like that 17 years ago and called the toll-free number on the package to ask if that meant there was a possibility I wasn't pregnant...I was told that ANY positive reaction at all indicates pregnancy.)
You definitely need to go to your doctor for confirmation though so that you can begin proper prenatal care immediately.
Congrats! It's good to see you're super excited! :-)

Home pregnancy test are very reliable . I don't think it matter whether you buy a cheap or expensive one. It all depends on if you perform the test accurately and the time of the day. It is posssible that your hcg level was lower when you did the first test and higher when you did the other two test. I would say stop worrying about it and go to your doctor and confirm if you are pregnant because if you are there a lot of thing that you should start doing. Good Luck

Pregnancy tests are like soda: they cost pennies to manufacturer, but the resale markup is huge. In this case, the low price really is a great deal! Many women have reported accurate early detection with these $1 bargains. I have experimented with many of them myself and have never seen a false positive. Some have faint evaporation lines, but most tests do. So long as you know what an evap line looks like and how it differs from a true positive, save your money and shop at Dollar Tree!

Check the package, because I believe that they ask you to wait a few days before trying them. When I thought I was pregnant, I took 7 tests (yes, one every day) because I just knew that I was. And finally, the last one gave me the answer I wanted. All the others were blank.
Then I waited another week and took another which confirmed it. Then I called the doctor and they took a test to really confirm it.
Good luck!!!

Many doctors offices use urine stick pregnancy tests. As long as you followed the directions on the package, they are over 99% accurate.
If the second test came out negative, perhaps it simply wasn't wet enough. I'd say the first, third, and fourth are probably right.
Congratulations, Mama!
It still wouldn't hurt to confirm it with the doctor. That way you can get started on prenatal vitamins, etc.
Good luck!

Honey, you're pregnant. It doesnt matter how faint the plus sign is! If the test detects ANY HCG it's going to show up. I had that same problem with my HPT. The 2nd one sounds like something was wrong with the test, not you. Don't worry!

Nothing is 100%. Even doctors have been known to give a false positive or a false negative. Some women have had to do several home pregnancy tests before getting the correct answer.
I know... I had to do it twice myself.

I only took one home test, and it was right. I called my doctor and made an appointment almost immediately. I would just see the doc, and find out for sure. But, odds are, if you had three positive tests, you're pregnant. Congratulations!

Make sure you use your first morning urine and follow the instructions exactly. All these tests are very accurate and are what doctors use. Always follow up with a confirmation. I believe congratulations are in order.
