The University of London is made up of different colleges (if you don't know how it works go to http://www.lon.ac.uk/). Each of these colleges are like a university in themselves but your final degree comes from the University of London. Here is a link that will tell you which colleges do Psychology and related subjects:
http://www.london.ac.uk/coursesearch/courselist.php?level_id=2&area_id=4&subject_id=68

This link is for undergraduate study and usually in England you can only specialise in specific areas in psychology after obtaining a Bachelor.

If you want to venture outside London here is a link of the top 20 universities in relation to Psychology as identified by The Times Newspaper (once you click it scroll down and click Psychology): http://www.timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,6734,00.html

There is also one by The Guardian Newspaper which differs slightly and covers all the universities that do Psychology i believe: http://education.guardian.co.uk/universityguide2005/table/0,15905,-5163922,00.html

I do not know about what the best school are but I know some people that are working at as a cashier at a retail store that have a degree in psychology. Having a undergraduate degree in psychology is not a marketable skill.
