C = pi D

37.68 = 3.14 x D

D = 37.68 divided by 3.14

D = 12 in

r = 1/2 the Diameter so equals 6 in

Now you know how to do them you can do the remainder

c = pi * 2 radius
radius = c / (2 * pi) equation "1"
area = pi * radius * radius equation "2"

1. radius = 37.68 / (2 * 3.14 ) = 6 using equation "1"
area = 3.14 * 6 * 6 = 113.04 using equation "2"

Circumference equals 2*pi*radius.

So you have to rearrange the numbers on each side of the equation until you have the number you don't know on one side.

This would be: Circumference divided by 2 divided by pi equals radius.

I seriously cannot believe that the people on here are doing your work for you. You should really be embarassed about this one. They teach these things in 8th and 9th grade they go over it again. Stop flirting with all the "sexy boys" and grow up and pay attention. Because you wouldn't know if somebody gave you the wrong answer or not if someone wanted to mess you up. Do it for yourself.

Sorry. It will really help you in the long run if you do though.

C=2(pi)r
1. 37.68=2 (3.14) R
R=6

2. 43.96= 2 (3.14) r
r=7

69.08= 2 (3.14) r
r=11

C=2*pi*r
r= C/(2*pi)

1) r= 6in
2)r=7in
3)r=11in

The circumference of a circle is C = 2r(pi), so the radius is r = C / 2(pi)

C=2(pi)r
so,r=C/2(pi)
implying in the values will give u
1.r=6 in.
2.r=7 m.
3.r=11 cm.
Area=(pi)(r)(r)=(pi)r^2

C=2pi*r
So divide by 2i
37.68/6.28 = 6"
43.96/6.28 = 7m
69.08/6.28 = 11cm
