The Others (2001) Rated PG-13

Starring Nicole Kidman, Fionnula Flannigan, Alakina Mann and James Bently
Shortly after the end of World War II, a mother is living in a mansion on the Isle of Jersey, awaiting the return of her husband. Her two children have a strange condition that makes sunlight deadly to them, so the large house is kept dark. Many spooky things happen, including the children’s insistence that the house is haunted. Directed with great style by Alejandro Amenábar, this movie will give you the shivers

Red Eye (2005) Rated PG-13

Starring Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy and Brian Cox
McAdams is so lovely and fresh-faced that you can’t imagine anything terrible happening to her. But bad things do happen! She is returning home to Miami on a red eye flight, after attending her grandmother’s funeral, and meets a handsome stranger in the airport, who “happens” to sit next to her on their flight. Infatuation turns to terror when the young man threatens the life of her father. Director Wes Craven uses the confined space of the airplane very well, as our smart and feisty heroine tries to figure a way out of her predicament.

also try these

The Shining
Exorcist
The Omen
The Skeleton Key

they are all extremely scary

i hope all this helps!!!

Well, The Ring is probably the scariest movie I've seen. I think it's PG-13. The Sixth Sense was pretty scary too. The Grudge is retarded, still it has some scary stuff in it.

There's an old Christopher Walken movie named "Communion" that scared the hell out of me, and I think its supposed to be based on a true story. I don't know if this would actually be classified as a scary movie, but it did scare me. Watch it with the lights off and by yourself if possible. It really creeped me out!

I thought 'Signs' was creepy, but (like most movies I watch) it was only creepy after I went to bed and had time for my imagination to work on it. Alfred Hitchock it the best, but that's more suspense than scary. Happy Birthday!

There aren't too many movies that are scary. You should stick with classics like The Exorcist or Halloween, but only the first Halloween.

Leprechan, or Child's Play (I saw them when I was 13 for my b-day...scared the crap out of me!)

Any really good scary movie isn't rated PG13...you're better off with older movies 70's and 80's
