These two actually have the same HT speed, its just that the Sapphire board quotes the actual speed, and the ASUS board quotes it with the double pumping factored in. Both however are the same thing. HTT Bus Speed: This is the HyperTransport Bus speeds that your system will run at and though they show different numbers it shouldn't be a big deal. That Sapphire board is a really nice one, and if you are looking at it you should get it. If someone that knows more about the whole hypertransport thing answers you should be able to make up your mind more easily, though I think you have nothing to worry about.

by the way, the comment by the above poster isn't necessarily true, this is computers not cars and that rule doesn't apply, since there are bottlenecks involved around the system, whether it is the processor, ram, video card, or the chipset.

well faster is better. why drive a car that goes 100 mph when you could drive one that goes 200mph. gets you to where you want to go faster.
