Buying a laptop for the first time?

What ar some things(assesories) that i would have to buy for it, so i could use it at home...I already have a desktop?

A wire-less mouse, mouse pad, and a carrying case ( in case you take it to work or school).

I STRONGLY recommend getting your laptop Shield Guarded with a plastic, scratch resistant finish. Its a great investment and it keeps your laptop free from scratches.
