#1 is right, soak them in nail polish remover, but you need to make sure it has acetone in it. The acetone will eat away at the nail, and make it easier to get off. Note that it will hurt a little. Another and probably less painful option is to go back where you got them done. They have tools that they can use to remove them for you, and I doubt it is very expencive.

Soak, Soak, Soak them in acetone based nail polish removal. I mean for at least 20 minutes. Then taking a nail stick wood or metal (metal might be better because it wont break) go underneath the nail and slowly try to pry them off. It might hurt a little but not too bad. The damage of the acrylic nails is more than damage of taking them off. If all else fails go see a professional and get them taking off. Make sure you moisturize your hands afterwards because acetone is very drying.

You soak them in 100% acetone. Be sure to put the acetone in a glass bowl (one that you don't wish to use again). You also need a coarse nail file. Soak them for a while then file the acrylic off with the nail file. Repeat this process until all of the acrylic is gone. (Be careful not to file your natural nails with the nail file). This is the exact procedure used in the nail salon, although they may use the drill to remove the acrylic instead of a nail file.

hi, there: I very own my very own salon and that i do acrylic and gel nails. in case you like them, then you definately gets them crammed each 2-3 weeks and be good. i might truthfully attempt to discover somebody who makes use of an definitely nail record and not a drill because of the fact the drill does an gigantic volume of harm on your organic nail vs. a record. enable's say you finally end up soaking them off with organic acetone for the reason which you're sick of them. Your organic nails will might desire to strengthen out the area of them that became filed or "etched" to be certain that the acrylic to adhere. the only distinctive which you will see is that the area the place the acrylic became would be thinner and additionally you will see record marks, yet which will strengthen out with the aid of the years. the different questions, be helpful to ask. good success.

i would go back to the place that you got them done, and pay the like 5$ or something like that to get them removed, they will soak your hands in acetone to soften the nails up...i had mine done and soaked them in finger nail polish with acetone, it took awhile at home, and it was still kind of difficult..but they came off eventually..

Okay you DONT have to soak them in acetone! You could cut them down as far as you can and get a file and file them down until you get down to your real nail. The file should be rougher than a regular one it should be like one they use at the nail salon you can probably find one at wal-mart, target etc.

You can buy nail polish remover and soak your hands for 30 minutes, or visit a salon and for about $10.00 they will remove them the same way.

you can get a pair of clippers and wedge them between the real and fake nail and clip a little at a time.
i would suggest going back to the salon and have them do it. it wouldn't take as long, they knjow how not to damage the nail even more and a lot less poainful!
